Steering wheel upgrades: the newer wheel, in your car
Most of the wheels we build go into cars that left the factory with an older design. A 997 with a 991 or 992 wheel. A 991 with a 992 wheel. A pre-facelift M3 with the LCI wheel. An older AMG with the W206 style wheel. You can even skip a generation. We supply the complete wheel with the airbag and a decoder already fitted, so it is plug and play, no coding, and your functions keep working.

No coding and no dealer visit. Every upgrade is supplied as a complete wheel with a decoder already fitted, so your buttons, paddles and other functions keep working as they do now, unless we tell you otherwise on your design proof.
What is included
A complete, newly built steering wheel in the newer design. The airbag to suit it, OEM where possible or a compatible new aftermarket unit. The decoder and wiring pre-fitted. Your free design proof before you pay.

Upgrade questions
Do I need coding?
No. Every upgrade has a decoder pre-fitted. On Mercedes upgrades, cruise control stays on the column stalk.
Will my buttons and paddles still work?
Yes. Your functions keep working as they do now, unless we tell you otherwise on your design proof before you pay.
Do I need to send you my wheel?
No. We supply a complete new wheel and you keep your original.
How long does it take?
10 to 25 working days from when your spec is confirmed.
