LEAD TIMES

Steering wheel orders fall into three categories. Build Your Own (BYO) custom wheels take 10 to 25 working days from order to dispatch. Made to Order (MTO) configurations take 10 to 15 working days. In Stock items dispatch within 1 to 3 working days. Any delays will be communicated with the customer and a revised completion date will be issued where possible. PB Forged Wheels are also made to order and carry a lead time of 4 to 8 weeks depending on the specification chosen by the customer. Rush orders and Faster shipping is available, please get in touch for rates and delivery times (PB Forged Wheels only). 

For orders that experience delays caused by shipping, couriers or customs, suppliers and or manufacturing, Premium Bespoke AutoWorks and/ or PB Forged Wheels are not liable for any resulting inconvenience, lost time or costs. In these instances no refunds on products or the cost of shipping are applicable. 

Some parts of the production process are outsourced. This varies on vehicle make, model, year and the required modifications. If there are any issues in our supply chain such as delayed delivery of parts, faulty parts, suppliers closing business, additional waiting times, you will be updated by our production team at first notice.

Some vehicles will require pre inspection before an order is started. This will subsequently increase the order lead time. For orders that fall into this category any costs associated such as, travel, pre inspection, parts removal and vehicle diagnosis will be at the cost of the customer.

Custom steering wheels are supplied without airbag components by default. During installation, your existing airbag transfers from your original wheel to the new wheel. Where you are upgrading from an older wheel model to a newer design that requires a different airbag, Premium Bespoke AutoWorks will source and supply the required airbag with your order. Airbags are classified as dangerous goods under courier regulations and may require specialist shipping at additional cost; where this applies, we will inform you before completing your order. Depending on the courier used, the airbag may be sent as a complete unit or dismantled with components shipped separately.

 

PRODUCT TERMS

Failure to disclose or confirm vehicle details and functionality when ordering (such as lane tracking assist, heated steering wheel functions, PCD, centre bore and any other vehicle specific functions) when placing your order will result in additional charges and time to rectify at the customers cost (if possible) or the cancellation of your order with no refund offered. 

Premium Bespoke AutoWorks can not and does not guarantee colour matching due to using different materials to all companies. Colours need to be confirmed at the point of payment. Failure to communicate the need for a colour match will result in time and cost to rectify at the customers expense. For orders containing airbag covers, the vehicles horn (if horn press) may require additional pressure to activate due to the additional material used for the airbag cover.

Steering wheel functions may differ or not be available for vehicles that have been damage repaired. If your vehicle has previously been damaged, (declared a write off or had unrecorded damage) and has now been repaired and you experience a loss of functionality we will be happy to investigate any/ all issues. However, this will be at the customers cost as we cannot guarantee your vehicle has been repaired to manufacturer standards.

Premium Bespoke AutoWorks are not liable for vehicle battery issues including battery failures. Steering wheels and other electronic products and services are additional to your vehicle's factory specification. Therefore, it is the customers responsibility to ensure the battery is an appropriate standard to operate any and all upgrades installed on the vehicle. Where required/ possible Premium Bespoke AutoWorks will provide additional hardware for vehicles with anti-theft software and/ or functional instructions on how to make the most of your product. This includes but is not limited to powering the device on and off manually (for steering wheels fitted with an LED unit). Premium Bespoke AutoWorks will provide additional hardware, software and/ or instruction for eligible orders. Therefore these orders are not eligible for a refund. Some vehicles do not have a 12v power source in/ around the steering wheel/ clock-spring area and will need additional wiring/ pins/ 12v supply to be installed in order to make the most of your bespoke steering wheel. Vehicles that require this type of installation are also not eligible for a refund.

For vehicles that use the bluetooth dongle to operate the LED unit there may be a transmission of data delay of approximately 1-3 MPH (this is due to the information transfer speed form the vehicles OBDII port to the LCD screen on the LED unit. 

For custom steering wheel retaining the heated steering wheel function, Premium Bespoke AutoWorks will supply a heated plug where possible. Alternatively the custom steering wheel will be supplied with the wires needed for the heated function to work and will require the existing heated steering wheel plug and/ or pins to be used to complete the installation.

If any stakeholders (i.e. insurance, finance companies, registered keepers etc) must be informed of any changes made to your vehicle the customer takes full responsibility of doing so. This includes deciding on whether to go through with any and all modifications. 

It is the customers responsibility to check that all details are correct on the sales quote and invoice such as delivery address and items requested. Premium Bespoke AutoWorks/PB Forged Wheels can not be held responsible for any errors. Any and all confirmed changes made to steering wheel specifications in writing (email, WhatsApp, sms text, written letter) at the request of the customer or Premium Bespoke AutoWorks will result in a new order form being generated and the order being exempt from a refund. New order forms are available at request and will be supplied in physical form with the bespoke steering wheel. 

Custom steering wheels are supplied without printed fitting instructions. Due to the wide variation between vehicle makes, models and years, Premium Bespoke AutoWorks does not produce vehicle-specific instructions. General guidance, including step-by-step support material, is available at /pages/support-guides. Any guidance provided serves as a reference only; installation should be carried out by a qualified auto specialist familiar with airbag-equipped vehicles.  

New is defined as a modified/ customised steering wheel that has not yet been fitted to a vehicle. We use a selection of OEM and aftermarket parts when building our bespoke steering wheels. The steering wheel core, airbag (if applicable) and airbag mounting plate will be OEM. Any associated, or necessary additional parts used can be aftermarket or OEM depending on the final specification of the steering wheel and the make, model, year and functions of the vehicle that it will be installed on this includes slight variances in the core itself. Where possible, Premium Bespoke AutoWorks will use like for like parts to ensure compatibility, however, variations or parts and aftermarket parts can also be used to ensure compatibility. All bespoke steering wheels supplied by Premium Bespoke AutoWorks are custom-made products designed to be compatible with the specified vehicle model. While efforts are made to align with model-specific OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) designs where possible, custom wheels are not guaranteed to replicate OEM components, including badges, trims, or specific aesthetic features, unless explicitly stated and approved in the order specifications.

Our bespoke steering wheels are only compatible when installed in isolation. If you plan on installing one of our bespoke steering wheels as part of additional work (i.e. keyless entry, infotainment or software updates) please make this known at the time of your purchase. Failure to inform Premium Bespoke AutoWorks at the time of purchase regarding any additional work will result in, no refunds, returns or exchanges upon the realisation of our product/s being incompatible.  


PB Forged and PB Carbon Wheels require a 60% production deposit to begin an order for custom made wheels. By paying this deposit the customer gives their approval to manufacture their wheel order to the specifications outlined in this sales quote. The production deposit is non refundable and all sales are final. By paying the deposit, the Customer agrees not to cancel or dispute payment(s) for any reason. 

Digital cluster retrofits consist of brand new and refurbished parts for compatible vehicles. All parts supplied as part of a digital cluster retrofit kit are covered under warranty. 

All design/s, consultation and product information produced (intellectual property) as part of the PB Forged Wheels bespoke design services remains sole property of PB Forged Wheels. Any and all recipients of designs/ design related media, non technical or technical information do not have permission to produce, reproduce, copy, mimic or share any part/s of the information detail above. This includes post purchase. Any breach of the terms and conditions outlined above will result in legal action being taken against any/ all customers and third parties involved in such breach within the full extent of the law in the United Kingdom. 

If a customer/ third party would like to use any/ all parts of PB Forged Wheels IP, an application to purchase a licence to lawfully use any/ all IP must be made to info@premiumbespokeautoworks.com.

WARRANTY

All custom steering wheels supplied by Premium Bespoke AutoWorks come with a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery. Every wheel is tested before dispatch.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty is voided only if the wheel is modified by the customer or a third party after delivery, or if the wheel is damaged through accident, misuse, or improper installation.

Warranty is not transferable to a new owner of the steering wheel or to a new owner of the vehicle if sold with the wheel still fitted. Wear and tear (including finish wear, leather/Alcantara softening, button-finish wear) is not covered, as severity and speed of wear depend on use, colour, texture, climate and other factors.

Premium Bespoke AutoWorks does not operate a workshop or fitting centre, does not endorse specific installers, and does not arrange installation services on behalf of customers. If you believe your wheel has a fault, please contact sales@premiumbespokeautoworks.com with photographs and video evidence. We will diagnose the issue remotely and, where the fault is covered under warranty, arrange repair or replacement. Where remote diagnosis is inconclusive, the wheel may need to be returned to us for physical inspection. Return for inspection does not constitute acceptance of a warranty claim — we will inspect, determine the cause, and either repair, replace, or return the wheel with a written explanation of findings.

Premium Bespoke AutoWorks is not responsible for any third-party costs incurred by the customer in connection with a warranty claim, including but not limited to installer labour, removal and refitting costs, diagnostic fees, or vehicle transport.

PB Forged wheels must be properly installed on the vehicle for which the wheels were manufactured for as specified and agreed to on the Order Confirmation authorised by the purchaser, or in the care and mounting instructions provided at the time of delivery, and where applicable, by using the specified lug nuts/bolts or other hardware which may be supplied by PB Forged wheels for such installation. In addition, the tires that are mounted on the wheels must be correct for the vehicle.

PB Forged Wheels are manufactured in the following territories: United Kingdom, United States of America, East Asia. If you would like to know where your wheel set is manufactured please contact us at the point of purchase.

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY

This warranty does not cover damage to, or any failure of an PB Forged wheel caused by unreasonable use of the wheels, road hazard or externally caused damage from the following conditions:

1) Off road racing, or unpaved road driving conditions or road hazards; for example, pot holes, gravel, road debris, scrap metal, tire remnants, trash and other road clutter.

2) The failure to properly use the tires which are mounted on the PB Forged wheels; for example, improper inflation of tires, loading the vehicle beyond its capacity, misalignment of tires and wheels, imbalance of tires and wheels and/or the use of incorrect tires and wheels.

3) Any kind of impact or abuse resulting from bends/bending of rim parts, collision/impacts, pot holes, flat tires, curbing, racing, accident, fire, vandalism or rubbing due to projection from the wheel well.

4) Infrequent or improper cleaning of PB Forged wheels will void the finish warranty. Only a mild soap applied with a hose or soft cloth should be used to clean PB Forged wheels. Cleaning PB Forged Wheels with a hard or coarse brush or fabric, chemical based cleaners or acid sprays may cause damage to the finish that will void the warranty. Note: Many car washes use acid spray to clean wheels.

5) Exposure to road salt or other hazardous chemicals used on roadways during inclement weather.

6) The application to PB Forged wheels of any type of clip-on weights or other accessories. USE TAPE-ON WEIGHTS ONLY.

7) Any damage or failure which occurs as a result of your continued use of PB Forged wheels after your discovery of a problem.

PB Forged wheels come with a 3 year structural and 1 year finishing warranty if our terms of warranty provision are met. 

Any and all customers who have not settled their balances in full regarding parts and/ or labour are exempt from warranty claims, support services, shipping, technical support, labour and parts replacement and returns. If full balances are paid after any issue/s related to your order are raised/ upon raising any issues, the customer is still exempt from the above services and will be charged accordingly. 

We review our terms and conditions on a regular basis to ensure we offer the best product/s and service for our customers. Any amendments to our terms of business above will be communicated on this page in the form of a banner stating 'we have updated our terms and conditions'. The terms and conditions above are Premium Bespoke AutoWorks latest terms of business.

REFUNDS FOLLOWING PAYMENT DISPUTES

If a customer receives a refund or reimbursement following a chargeback, card dispute or similar payment dispute, the relevant item must be returned to us within 14 days of the refund being confirmed, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.

A refund does not entitle the customer to keep the item without payment. Once refunded, the customer no longer has any right to retain the item unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.

The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the item until it is returned. If the item is not returned within 14 days, we reserve the right to take steps to recover the item or to recover its value, together with any applicable recovery costs, court fees or other sums awarded to us.

Nothing in this clause limits any rights a customer may have under applicable consumer law.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Premium Bespoke AutoWorks’s total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the value of that order. Premium Bespoke AutoWorks is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of use of a vehicle, loss of opportunity, loss of business, or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability which cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.

General Giveaway Terms & Conditions – Vehicle & Ownership Clause (Reusable for All Competitions)

Vehicle Ownership & Prize Redemption

  • All Premium Bespoke AutoWorks giveaways involving vehicle-specific products (including but not limited to custom steering wheels, interior trims, or carbon parts) must be redeemed exclusively on the winner's own vehicle.
  • Prizes cannot be redeemed on any other vehicle, including those owned by family members, friends, dealerships, companies, or third parties.
  • Giveaway prizes are strictly non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, gifted, reassigned, exchanged, or transferred under any circumstances.
  • Premium Bespoke AutoWorks will require proof of identity and proof of vehicle ownership before any prize can be redeemed. Acceptable documents may include (but are not limited to):
    • V5C logbook
    • Valid driving licence
    • Insurance document showing the winner as the named driver
    • Utility bill or proof of address matching ownership details
  • Failure to supply requested documentation within the timeframe specified by Premium Bespoke AutoWorks may result in disqualification and selection of an alternative winner.
  • If the winner's vehicle is deemed incompatible with the prize, the winner may nominate another vehicle only if they are the legal owner, and only if that vehicle meets all compatibility requirements.
  • Under no circumstances will the prize be exchanged for cash, credit, or any alternative product outside the scope of the stated giveaway.

FAILURE TO TAKE DELIVERY AND ABANDONMENT

Production Hold — failure to confirm specification. Build Your Own and Made to Order orders require written confirmation of the final specification before production begins. If a customer does not respond to our specification confirmation request within 14 working days of placing the order, we will issue a final reminder. If no response is received within a further 7 working days, the order will be cancelled and any payment received refunded, less any payment processing fees and reasonable administrative charges incurred.

Completed wheel awaiting collection or delivery. Once a custom wheel has been built and is ready for dispatch or collection, the customer will be notified by email. The customer has 6 months from this notification to arrange payment of any outstanding balance and to take delivery or collection of the wheel. After 6 months have elapsed without resolution:

  • the wheel will be considered abandoned;
  • any deposit or partial payment is forfeited as a contribution to materials, labour, and storage costs incurred by Premium Bespoke AutoWorks;
  • Premium Bespoke AutoWorks reserves the right to repurpose, resell, or otherwise dispose of the abandoned wheel without further notice or compensation to the original customer.

If a customer wishes to claim a wheel after the 6-month period has elapsed, they may contact us to check whether the wheel has been repurposed. If the wheel has not yet been repurposed, the customer may take delivery on payment of any outstanding balance plus reasonable storage charges. If the wheel has already been repurposed, the customer may request a rebuild by paying the remaining balance of the original order at current pricing. No refunds of deposits are available in either case.

Failed delivery — unresponsive recipient. Where a wheel has been dispatched and the courier is unable to complete delivery (no recipient available, incorrect address, refusal to accept delivery), the parcel will normally be returned to Premium Bespoke AutoWorks. The customer will be notified and must respond within 14 working days to arrange redelivery, which will incur additional shipping charges. If the customer does not respond within 14 working days, the wheel will be treated under the Completed wheel awaiting collection clause above, with the 6-month period running from the date of the failed-delivery notification.


GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
